Aliveness Meditation

When I sit down to meditate, I am very often blown away by how much my body is doing for me without me ever noticing it. All of the breathing, and heart beating, and consciousness – there’s a lot going on, without even thinking about neurons firing, and food digesting, and cells replicating – bodies are doing a lot for us, all the time. Like the Mom we took for granted, our bodies inexhaustibly work every second for us, and now it’s time to appreciate the miraculous gift that is being alive.

  1. Very nice. Have repeated this at night to exclude the monkey mind. It gets my focus back inside my skin and mind.
